Our kennel is found just out of Moose Lake City Limits, allowing us the ability
to provide a private country setting that is very close to town and on a paved
road, making finding us very easy, and not out of your way. The guests spend
their outside time chasing squirrels, rabbits and watching our horses. We will
also provide one on one walks and cuddle times for no extra charge!!
We recommended
that you take a tour with your dog to give your dog an opportunity to visit us
and become comfortable with me and our staff. This gives your dog a positive
experience if you decide to board with us, your dog will have an easier time
assimilating into our fun time routine.

loves Kennelz and Bitz, because we are so much more than just a kennel.
We offer so many programs for exercise and play, and plenty of love to go
around. We strive to make the boarding experience as stress free as possible
for you and your pet. We have quickly become one of Northern Minnesota's most
popular boarding facility due to the fact that we truly care for the pets we
take in, and love each one! We make each guest a star!! Your pets stay will be
caught on video tape as well as documented with a picture diary.
We offer you
quality suites that have solid walls, which allow more privacy and quietness.
Our suites offer heated floors in the winter, and air-conditioning for the
summer months and there is fresh filtered air cycling through out the entire
building 24 hours a day! We also have soft music and television playing
throughout the night and daytime hours.
Our boarding
rate includes all services. We do not charge extra for exercise time, playing
with your dog, giving medications and it doesn't matter to us if your dog is
spayed or neutered...just inform us if this is the case. We'll even toss in
belly rubs, hugs and kisses for free!!
We specialize in socializing dogs. We group the dogs together
based on their social abilities, whether your dog is playful, mellow or
geriatric. The dogs play together either indoors or outside. We offer an indoor
play area, and a large out door, natural shaded play area which soon will be
covered to offer protection from the weather elements. The dogs play together
for four to six hours per day.
At the end of the day they are tired from all of the exercise. For
safety measures, we will not group more then 6 dogs at a time either indoors or
outside. Because we spend so much of our time with the guests, please be
patient to allow us enough time to return the boarders to the safety of their
bedrooms when you stop in. You don't have to worry if you do not feel
comfortable with doggie socialization, your loved one will be exercised and
given lots of one on one attention with our trained doggie staff.

Kennelz and Bitz was formed to provide a much needed service to the Moose Lake and surrounding areas. We formed our kennel around love and care, and the respect.
Kennelz and Bitz is open 7 days a week for boarding, and unfortunately because of Lori's recent back surgery and large customer base, we can only groom four days a week.
