Itzy Bitzy Huskies was formed AROUND our very own Itzy Bitzy!
We found Itzy Bitzy in 2004, and our lives have been forever changed. We live, sleep and breath AKK thanks to Chris Shackleford and Itzy Bitzy. Itzy Bitzy flew in from Alabama, and took over our house.
He has attached himself mainly to me, but will allow Gordy to play and cuddle with him. He doesn't like children or strangers, but loves being looked at. He is so proud, and will often be found laying with his front paws crossed, being the royal canine that he is.
We first found out about the AKK by watching a TV series Designer Dogs, and I KNEW I needed one. After months of research, I was able to find my own jewel via the internet. He flew in from Alabama, and has been with us 24 x 7 ever since.
After learning more about the AKK, and falling totally
in love with the breed, we decided to help others find their own true
loves, by getting into the breeding program.
Because we own and operate a dog boarding and grooming facility called Kennelz and Bitz, we unfortunately do not have the time to have very many litters a year. Our females and male live WITH us, so the puppies will be very well adjusted to family noises and sounds. We will whelp them in our puppy/laundry room, where they will stay until they become to big to stay in their whelping box, at that time they will taking over our house, and learning to use doggie doors during the daytime hours when we are busy with the kennel.
We are new to breeding klee kai, but have years of breeding experience by raising cocker spaniels. We live on a hobby farm, and Gordy and I both grew up in the country living with animals of all kinds, shapes and sizes.

Unfortunately Nunya's life was cut short due to a TRAGIC accident, and a day still doesn't go by without me thinking of our single blued angel. Alan and Barb have become more then our mentors, they are truly a blessing in our lives. They have become our friends.

Meishka is going to be our toy foundation female, but don't let her size fool you, she is the boss of everyone. She has become the queen of our bed, and is so sassy. She loves meeting people, and telling everyone that she owns everyone, and everything. She doesn't like to be picked up, everything has to be on her terms! Because she is always on the go, keeping weight on her is a challenge, so she gets special food at night, which just makes her think she's even more spoiled!! After being on a waiting list for a couple of years, we finally were able to bring home Meshik from Colorado. Meshik is a Standard and has passed the breeding standards testing. We are proud to announce that Meshik has made a love connection, and is expecting her second litter! She is so tender and loving. She loves laying like a baby in your arms and falling asleep while you rub her belly. She loves to TALK from the moment she she's you in the a.m., until she finally crashes for the night. Meshik unfortunately gets car sick, so isn't able to go on as many rides as the rest, but boy does she tell you off when you get back from leaving her at home. She is a lover for sure! His name is Wiebelhusy's ItzyBitzy Casbah Cash, and he is a beautiful black/white parti-eyed little boy!!
Cash is such a unique individual. He doesn't really like to cuddle that much, but he demands attention....ON HIS TIME He doesn't hog the bed, just the pillow!
As you can see he has so much love in his beautiful face! Cash is a talker, a sasser, and DEMANDS attention and will tell you off until you pet him, and then you can only quit when he says you can! He passes the talking and the white tip on his tail unto his babies.
Cash is NOT red factored, and is Factor CLEAR
Cash can be used for stud service. If you are interested in using Cash for stud service, all females must be free of any health and heredity traits. All applicants must submit a health certificate, proof
of ownership and pedigree along with proof of passing all health
related testing.
We also require a deposit at the time of filling out stud contract. You will be responsible for all traveling expenses.
We are hoping to add Kela to our family soon!!! We will let you know if and when it's official. Kela is four years old, and is related to our Cash Man. She is so loving, and never barks at anyone. She loves to cuddle and to give kisses. We are so excited to add her to our family.

She was born here to us on and there was no way we were going to let her leave our home!
Makita loves me most, and gives the most special hugs and kisses. She is quite the hunter, she will stalk anything that moves, including a snake! She spends her day hunting, sun bathing and running!
We are anxiously awaiting her second heat cycle so her and Travis can make some beautiful babies!
Our prized male, Champion 'PR' Naitok's Hot Travis. Travis is a double brown eyed red factor Standard boy.
Travis is a Factor Carrier, so will only be bred to factor free females. He may produce carrier puppies. Travis' puppies are so mellow, beautiful and wonderful! He produces the best of the best in my opinion. His puppies are very laid back, but can be playful as well. Travis demands to be petted the most, and he will squeeze himself between me and whomever I'm petting so that way his body is touching mine! He rarely talks or barks, unless he thinks the girl in season should be his and not Cash's.

ALASCO'S OGALA grey and white female one of her eyes blue and one eye is part
blue and part brown..
born out of Alasco's Selawyn and Alasco's Tungutok. Parentage has
been verified by DNA. Both parents are normal for Factor VII so she
should be normal by descent.
Ogala is a beautiful toy who has the most PROUD gait! I wish I had more time to take her to shows to help her to win the titles she deserves!
She is extremely timid, but loves me and to be petted as long as there aren't too many other Klee Kai around.
*** ALL ITZY BITZY HUSKIES PARENTS MUST REPORT EACH MONTH TO US HOW THE PUPPY IS GROWING, TEMPERAMENT, WEIGHT, ETC.
This
is a REQUIREMENT, NOT an OPTION! Any parent NOT participating in
monthly reports will have to relinquish their puppy back to Itzy Bitzy
Huskies.
We have had too many parents "disappear" after
bringing their puppy home, and that not only breaks our hearts, but
makes it hard for us to keep track of medical conditions, temperaments,
etc. to make ensure all of our puppies grow into healthy adults. We
may find years down the line there is a health issue with our breeding
stock that could have been prevented by better monitoring of our grand
babies.
If you feel you cannot obligate a paragraph a month to us, then please DO NOT apply for an Itzy Bitzy Husky Puppy!
